Antonio Hernandez joined ServiceMaster Global Holdings, Inc. in 2015, as director of corporate communications. He also is founder of Globovoz Communications LLC, a Chicago-based global communications consulting firm. The company’s mission is to provide clients with strategic counsel and programs for diverse employee and public engagement strategies. The firm’s client roster has included LULAC, Aon Corporation, Hanes, McDonald’s Corporation, Nielsen and Gameplan Creative.
Hernandez has more than 24 years of corporate communications experience and his industry background includes global retail, energy legislation and regulation, risk management/insurance, and global pharmaceutical/ healthcare. He also has held senior global corporate communication roles with McDonald’s Corporation, Abbott Laboratories, and Exelon Corporation.
Hernandez currently serves as National President for the Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA), and is founder and chairman of the HPRA Chicago chapter. In 2014, he was named the inaugural chair of Diversity Initiatives for the Public Relations Society of America, Chicago market. In addition, he serves as a board member with the Illinois Safe Schools Alliance, and has been an invited guest lecturer on Advanced Topics in Multicultural Communications at DePaul University, Chicago.
Hernandez is the recipient of numerous professional and community awards, including the prestigious McDonald's Circle of Excellence Awards for corporate and crisis communications leadership, the Exelon Corporation Diversity Leadership Award, and the Volunteer Appreciation Award presented by the governor from the state of Texas. He holds a BA in psychology and business administration from the University of the Incarnate Word.
