President’s Message

October 4, 2012

Dear Friends and Colleagues,
¡Buenas noches y bienvenidos! I am happy to welcome everyone to our 28th Annual PRemio Awards & Scholarship Gala. What a better way to celebrate all of our honorees, awardees and scholarship recipients than with a fabulous party in the heart of Los Angeles. Each and every one of you deserves a round of applause for showing your support and helping us make this a spectacular evening.
And what a year this has been! With the launch of our National entity, we entered a new chapter of HPRA’s growth and evolution. We made it clear that HPRA is here to stay and grow. One thing is clear, though, we cannot grow without the support of each one of you and each of the companies and organizations that partner with us for this event and throughout the year. This is a year of change, positive change, and we embrace it full heartedly. As a resource for communicators, marketers and corporations seeking expertise in the Hispanic market, HPRA continues to build upon its commitment to engage, grow and help develop tomorrow’s leaders in the industry.
As we shared at this year’s Hispanicize event, the PRevolución is upon us and HPRA is leading the way to help advance the Hispanic PR industry through strategic partnerships and the support of all our members. I extend to you an invitation tonight to be part of this PRevolución by becoming an HPRA member. Help us continue building a stronger industry and providing professional development and networking opportunities for today’s leaders and to those that will continue our advancement. And if you’re already a member, I congratulate you for taking the first step to ensuring our success.
Thank you once again to tonight’s sponsors for making this event possible and to the team behind this evening – Edna, Lourdes, Oralia, Jackie, Leslie, Angela, Maricela, Nadia, Jose and all those behind the scenes – YOU ROCK! Enjoy this evening’s program.
Con mucho cariño,

Delia L. López
President
