PUBLIC RELATIONS REPRESENTATIVE

SeaWorld Orlando is seeking a full time Public Relations Representative.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Partner with team to generate publicity which drives awareness, attendance and revenue for SeaWorld Orlando, Discovery Cove and Aquatica.
- Coordinate broadcast and print media initiatives, develop media relations, coordinate media events and stunts, generate new story ideas.
- Write press material, conduct media pitch calls, conduct media development trips.
- Travel for animal appearances and media development missions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field such as Public Relations, Communications or Journalism.
- 2 - 3 years in a paid public relations capacity.
- Must have strong computer skills.
- Familiarity with both print and broadcast media. Personal media contacts within key source markets a plus.
- Flexibility and ability to multi-task.
- Strong writing, pitching and media relations skills a must.
- Ability to travel and work evening and weekend hours.
- Must be open to future relocation.
- Bilingual strongly preferred.
Salary: $41,146-56,575 Yearly
